Birds eye
I took this shot while I was on work placement with Australian Photography back in 2017 (I was in high school). One afternoon I got a message from my manager saying they’d been sent some drones from Dji and were asking if I wanted to come along to an early sunrise shoot at Mona Vale pool the next day. I absolutely jumped at it.
The next day I was up at 4.30 to get to Mona Vale by 5.45. We sent the drones up and got to shooting. I managed to compose and capture this one with absolutely perfect timing with the waves.
This shoot was one of the most memorable shoots I’ve been on and I couldn’t believe my luck to have had the chance to get this kind of experience at 17.
This one is also a top seller of mine in cards and large-format prints.
